REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

          ALL PRESENT:  Commissioner Morse, Chair Pro-Tem; Commissioner Jones; Commissioner Ostlund is absent; Erika Guy, Administrative Assistant; Clerk and Recorder Jeff Martin.

          PLEDGE: MOMENT OF SILENCE, Held.

          Commissioner Jones made a MOTION to Table Consent Agenda 2B, Commissioner Morse seconded.  Passed Unanimous. 

          MINUTES – August 13, 2024.  Commissioner Jones made a MOTION to approve the Minutes, Commissioner Jones seconded.  Passed Unanimous.

          9:30 a.m. PUBLIC HEARING – Resolution 24-132 to Name Unnamed Roads in Certificate of Survey No. 1422 – Naming the Roads Explorer Road, Queen Lane, and Blessings Way.  Commissioner Morse opened the Public Hearing.  Hearing no comments Commissioner Ostlund closed the Public Hearing.  Commissioner Jones made a MOTION to approve Resolution 24-132, Commissioner Morse seconded.  Passed Unanimous. 

          PUBLIC COMMENTS ON REGULAR, CONSENT AND FILED AGENDA ITEMS – Hearing no comments Commissioner Morse continued the Board Meeting.

          CLAIMS – Batches 25-014, 25-015 & 25-016.  Commissioner Jones made a MOTION to approve the Claims, Commissioner Morse seconded.  Passed Unanimous.

          CONSENT AGENDA – 1.  COMMISSIONERS – Board Reappointments – Mack Delcamp & Harvey Susott to Worden Fire District #4.  2.  COUNTY ATTORNEY – A.)  Prosecutorial Assistance in State v. R.A.W.  B.)  Branding & Local Purchasing Policy - TABLED.  3.  FINANCE - A.)  Public Works, Weed Department Contract with Wright Company, Inc. for Salt Cedar Management Project.  B.)  Facilities Department Contract with Tel-Net Systems for Fire Alarms, Panic Buttons and Monthly Monitoring.  C.)  Lockwood Pedestrian Safety Sidewalk, Lockwood School Massick Sidewalk Project.  D.)  Youth Services Center Request to Expend for New Appliances.  E.)  Bonds for Lost Warrants.  4.  PUBLIC WORKS – Contract Change Order 01 with Hardrives Construction for this Year’s County Chip Seal Project Throughout 26 RSID’s within Yellowstone County.   5.  HUMAN RESOURCES – A.)  Montana Association of Counties 2025 Vision Renewal Rates.  B.)  PERSONNEL ACTION REPORTS – Human Resources – 1 Salary & Other; Road & Bridge – 1 Salary & Other; Detention Facility – 1 Appointment, 3 Terminations; Finance – 1 Termination; Public Works – 1 Termination; YSC – 1 Termination.
